California Proposition 65 Disclosure

Scope
This disclosure applies to all research material distributed by X Factor Research LLC (DBA X Factor Peptides) ("XFP", "we") into the State of California. It is provided in compliance with the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (commonly "Proposition 65"), California Health & Safety Code §§ 25249.5 et seq., and the implementing regulations at 27 C.C.R. § 25600 et seq.
All XFP products are sold For Research Use Only (RUO). They are not foods, drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or medical devices. They are not intended for human or veterinary consumption, application, or administration. The Proposition 65 disclosure below is provided out of an abundance of caution to California-based researchers who receive shipments at a California address.

What we do to minimize exposure
- Per-lot COAs. We require the supplier's per-lot certificate of analysis for every lot, and
publish it on that lot's page when we receive it — reversed-phase HPLC purity with mass-spec (LC-MS) identity confirmation. Residual solvent screening is available on request for lots intended for California labs.
- Lyophilized at ≥99% target purity. Residuals from the SPPS process
(TFA, ACN, DMF) are reduced in the lyophilization and wash steps.
- No human use. All products are sold strictly RUO. The label and the
site repeatedly state this.
Researcher responsibility
A California-based researcher receiving any XFP material is responsible for applying institutional EH&S handling, ventilation, PPE, and waste disposal appropriate for chemicals of unknown reproductive toxicity. RUO material is not characterized for human safety and must be treated as a hazardous chemical in any laboratory setting.

A California consumer or researcher may request the following at any time by emailing [email protected]:
- The list of process residuals screened for, by lot.
- The COA for the specific lot you received.
- A copy of this Prop 65 notice for your records.
