FTC-compliant disclosure (required)
- You must disclose the affiliate relationship clearly and prominently — at the start of any post or video, not buried in a footer (16 CFR Part 255 / FTC Endorsement Guides).
- Acceptable language: "This post contains affiliate links — I earn a commission on qualified researcher orders. RUO research material only — not medical advice."
- You may not market X Factor products for human use, dosing, treatment, cure, or any wellness/biohacking framing. Doing so terminates the affiliate account immediately and forfeits unpaid commission.
- You may not run paid advertising on Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, or any platform that prohibits research-chemical promotion.
- You may not represent yourself as a licensed medical professional in connection with X Factor unless you actually are one and disclose your jurisdiction and license number.
What's allowed
- Writing about preclinical literature, mechanism, signaling pathways, COA practices.
- Linking to specific product pages with your unique ?ref= tracking parameter.
- Email newsletters to a researcher audience with the disclosure above.
- Lab-context YouTube videos, podcast episodes, blog posts.
